I’m Andrew Henry Mendoza

I have a deep love and fascination with all aspects of sound and how it helps elevate stories. I have had the privilege of providing sound work for a few years now for some awesome projects. I have formal training in audio production and provide most all audio work for DIGITALGARDEN from production recording through to mix, edit and design and finalizing.

Below are some highlights of my work (and a few other projects I’ve worked on):

This video clip belongs to Jason Pfitzer. I took about an hour, threw the cilp in Pro Tools and designed quick mock-up sound to it.

I wanted to re-imagine the sound design for Imaginary Force's reel making it a point to intentionally use exclusively free or personal sounds from my collection along with free or native audio processing plugins in both Pro Tools and Logic Pro (Space Designer is a sound designer's dream). i want to emphasize what so many influential sound engineers have reiterated — that its not the expensive gear that makes something great but the engineer. Anyway, Imaginary Force's constantly puts out visual work that is consistently stunning and unparalleled. Their work inspires me as both a creative and an audio engineer.
This is a little short film we created that's based on a feature script about criminals who steal from other criminals. The goal was to drop the viewer into the world of the feature film and tell an incomplete story in order to make the viewer want to see more.
